My Lil' Stitcher

Look what I got! I got it at Tuesday Mornings for $7.00! I didn't know they made sewing machines so small! I have tried it out, but I'm not very good at getting it going straight.

Does anyone have one of these? If so, do you have any pointers or tips? Also, to tie off your knot, the instructions say to flip your fabric or paper over and stitch over the end again, but that isn't so easy. It doesn't have a reverse button.

  1. Hi Tamara, I have one of these suckers... and I never use it. I can never get the tension right, it's not heavy enough (you have to use one hand to hold the sewing machine and one to guide the paper). I gave up trying to use it. I've got my old Kenmore sewing machine and use that on cards. Much, much better result (and much, much easier to use!)

If you find a trick to make the little one work... let me know.

  2. Personnally they are absolutely rubbish. The machine is not heavy enough to stop it from moving so you have to hold it with one hand and try to stitch with the other. The tension you can never get right right.

Sorry for dissing it but it is rubbish!
